Did Innoxa’s RENEW skincare revive my Mum’s skin?

It’s been a while since Mum has helped me with a review (an example of a past collaboration with her is over here :) ), but when we had the opportunity to trial some of Innoxa’s RENEW range, which is designed for 35+ year olds, I could not pass it up! This is because Mum  – who is almost 60 – is always on the search for a good night creme.

She has trialled the Anti-Ageing & Firming Night Creme* and the Advanced Anti-Ageing Eye Creme* from the RENEW range for several weeks.

Over a cup of coffee, I asked her what she thought about these products and here tis!

I really like the neat, clean, and modern packaging.

I really like the neat, clean, and modern packaging! It’s a lilac and white colour scheme which is quite soothing.

Innoxa state that the Anti-Ageing Night Creme is designed to “firm and smooth wrinkles”, “intensively hydrates skin” and “boost skin elasticity and radiance”.

What did Mum think?

She noticed that her skin did appear firmer, particularly the morning after having applied the cream. After a couple of weeks of nightly use, she also noticed what she termed a “mild” reduction in the appearance of fine lines.

What she liked the most about this product was its light texture and the way it is quickly absorbed into the skin. She has liked it so much that she is considering buying some more!

Innoxa products are available at Priceline and select chemists around Australia, and the RRP for this particular product is AUD $34.99. Given this, Mum’s “beautiful rating” for the Night Creme is 8/10: 4/5 for quality, and 4/5 for value.

Unfortunately, she was not as impressed with the Eye Creme.

Innoxa state that this product will “target the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and dark circles around the delicate eye area”. It retails at RRP AUD $24.99.

Mum explained to me that the Night Creme was “so good” that she was expecting the Eye Creme would also be the same, that is,  of better quality than other drugstore brands she has tried. She stated that it wasn’t bad but it didn’t appear to help her fine lines any more than what other similarly priced products have done.  She did not report any particular impact of the Creme on dark circles.

Consequently, her “beautiful rating” for this product is 5.5/10 – quality 3/5, value 2.5/5.

In addition to the RENEW range (which also includes a day creme with SPF and a cleansing wash), they have released a SKIN CLEAR range, THIRSTY SKIN range, RESTORE range, and a SUPER SENSITIVE range. That is certainly broad, which is a good thing, as it means that you are bound to find something that works well for your skin age and/or type! :)

If you are not familiar with Innoxa, I have previously provided a bit of an introduction to the brand – which produces cosmetics in addition to skin care – in a post over here .

Have you tried any of Innoxa’s skin care products? What do you think?

Hi Tina, thanks it is always fun to do a review with her! :) Yeah it is a shame, and is interesting, I think, because of how good the night cream was. I think it is like many brands, I guess, in that some products in their lines are better than others!
