Urban Rituelle’s Turkish Rose & Vanilla hand creme is a delight!

Happy Sunday everyone! :)

For those of you in Australia, I hope that you had a great Australia Day (our national holiday) yesterday.

I apologise to anyone who had been looking out for my post which was meant to be up yesterday – I was exhausted from my work trip and slept in a tad too late! I did have a good day though; after heading to the hairdressers I went to a BBQ with Mr R; we then went into the CBD for the annual Australia Day public concert and fireworks. This year the main act were The Potbelleez who do really catchy electro music. (They’re Australian and their songs have been featured on many big advertising campaigns here for cars and the like; they’re signed with Ministry of Sound so I recommend checking them out if you haven’t heard of them!) It was great I only wish that I had sneakers on so I could get up, dance, and not get my feet squashed! ;)

What had I planned to write about yesterday? A great product from an Aussie brand, of course! ;)

Urban Rituelle have previously been featured on the site over here, so I won’t give a detailed intro today other than saying they produce an impressive range of body, baby, and home (candles, fragrances) products. All are made right here in Australia – the company’s base is in Sydney.

A while back I had been complaining about how my (usually pretty good) nails were breaking a lot, and peeling too! Well, I have not changed anything in my routine, but I have been using their divine hand lotion from one of their latest collections – the Turkish Rose & Vanilla Hand Therapy* creme – and my nails are very happy!

I can’t prove it’s the hand lotion but it sure has been a lovely experiment of sorts, as this lotion smells so good you could eat it! (If you’re wanting to see my nails head to my Instagram page – I’m abeautifulstory on there. :) )

The 100mL tube is on the larger side but it’s still compact enough to fit into most hand bags. You only need a small amount of product for each application and the scent lasts well. It’s strong but I don’t find it overpowering or unpleasant in any way. The vanilla notes in this particular variety give the rose some freshness and make it more hip – there is no danger of smelling like a granny with this lotion! ;)

It retails at AUD $19.95 but is currently on sale for $15.96 on their site now! Urban Rituelle supply a range of boutiques but you can shop online right here.

The range also comes in fragrances such as White Peony and Rose Buds, Hibiscus and Cranberry, and Green Tea and Citrus Twist – plenty to tickle your senses with. :)

Beautiful rating 10/10: quality 5/5, value 5/5. Excellent product and a tube will last you a long time. It may also help with nail growth? (Well, so far it’s N=1 but hey there might be others of you out there who can comment? ;) )

    Hey Sarah!

I tried this lotion in a random store in Blackwood the other day. I was impressed with how fast it sunk into my hands without feeling at all greasy. Loved the scent!

I love a good hand cream and this one sounds “yummy”. As long as it doesn’t make my hands smell “grannyish” ;) hehhee..seriously though, good hand creams are hard to come by so I’ll put this on my “to look out for” list!
