Mini Haul from Greece, with love – thanks Mum!

Hi again! There’s been a lot happening for me and for the blog lately… Maybe I should set up another blog to talk about it?! ;) Just kidding but I like to try to keep a beautiful story focused on what I intend it to be – a blog about beauty and wellbeing. Unfortunately I’ve neglected the “wellbeing”  part lately, despite having lots of post ideas, and I have neglected men’s product reviews. This needs to change!

Motivation… So useful to have, so challenging to build and maintain. *Plays Rocky music and gives self a kick!* Hope you’ll bear with me readers and are enjoying my posts nevertheless!

Recently my Mum was very lucky to have had the opportunity to go on a wonderful holiday to Turkey and Greece with a good friend of hers. It was the best time of year to escape Adelaide as it is the middle of winter here!

I was also very lucky as Mum brought back souvenirs, including some skin care and cosmetic products. Thanks Mum! There were all sorts of interesting and pretty things – including a funky tote bag from Dubai (where they had a stopover) but I thought you lot would be most interested in the beauty related stuff.

I have heard a lot of great things about the Greek natural skin care, hair care and cosmetic brand Korres… Now I get the chance to experience a bit of that for myself! :)

I’m now the proud owner of a White Tea Fluid Gel Cleanser (khaki packaging, 4 Euro), a Yoghurt Moisturising Mask (blue/grey packaging, 4 Euro) and the cult classic Lip Butter – in Quince (Greek RRP unknown).

Here’s a few more pics of the lovely lip butter… It smells so good! :)

Swatches and detailed reviews of these products are coming soon. In the meantime, if you are a Korres newb (like me!) check out their official site at www.korres.com. :)

Have you tried Korres products? Which would you recommend?

I love the lip butter! Feels great and gives more colour than any others I’ve had, but still not a lipstick. Mine is more cherry-red though. Hope you enjoy it!

I haven’t tried Korres but that’s so cool that yours come directly from Greece!

Yeah I thought it was a nice surprise! A review of these products is due next week so that may be a useful guide if you are considering purchasing things from their range. :)
