Woohoo it’s the weekend! Hi everyone, I hope that you are all having a great one.
Here the weather has turned really gloomy, but I’ve got some fun plans for this evening. A friend is celebrating her 21st birthday and a group of us will be having dinner at a nice Korean restaurant and then doing karaoke! I’m not a good singer but I find karaoke fun.
I have been slowly working on making some layout changes to the site. I hope you like the changes but welcome any and all feedback!

I was excited to receive a Canmake product as part of a recent swap meet the Adelaide Beauty Bloggers engaged in.
Canmake is a well known brand of Japanese cosmetics and they have a wide range of products in their line, but I hadn’t had the opportunity to try any of them till now!
I’m not sure what the RRP of this product is, but if outside of Japan it is likely you’ll need to order it online. As I don’t have the RRP at hand I am not going to give it a Beautiful Rating. It is in shade PW05 -
Why not test out your hiragana, katakana and kanji reading skills?
My kanji skills are lousy so I got a bit stuck!
Unfortunately, no matter how much I applied of this product, it remained barely noticeable.
I have been using it as a natural looking eyeshadow when going to work from time to time, and I like it for that purpose! Here’s a swatch first in artifical lighting, then in natural lighting – it’s the stripe in the middle of the pictures…
Bottom line – do not purchase if wanting a pigmented and noticeable blush! OK as a neutral eyeshadow or perhaps if you are new to blush and are concerned you’ll make yourself look clownish!

What are your plans for this weekend?

I love the colour in the pan but it's a lovely natural sheen and all. Hmmm disappointing it doesn't show as much as swatched
My recent post OCC Lip Tars in Banjee, Interlace & Reverb
Hi Joline I love the shade in pan too! What I forgot to include in the review is that the collour actually shows up better in photos than in rl – so its even less noticeable in rl! Having said that I\’ve found other Japanese eye and face products to be similar at times – I think there\’s a preference for very subtle colours at times!
I love the rings in the background!
I’ve never heard of this brand before. It looks great if you are wanting a “no make up” look.
Beauty in a bottle recently posted..Friday’s Favourites
Hi! Thanks I got them from Lovisa, they seem to be having so many sales lately! Yes you’re right it would be good for that purpose… I am quite happy with it as a neutral eyeshadow base colour!
